for the MailSync application in the Clover App Market

This privacy policy applies to KingKode Creative, LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) use of your information collected through our MailSync application.


What information do we collect? 

The MailSync application does not collect or store any of your customer’s information. Your merchant email address is stored. Our application provides a means to securely synchronize your information between MailChimp and Clover POS.


What do we use your information for?

Your merchant email address is stored for the necessary notifications and periodic communications about actions required, updates or new features.


Legal Basis

Our legal basis for processing personal data is based on a) your consent, or b) a contract you have entered into with us that requires the processing of personal data.


Data Transfer

The MailSync application synchronizes information between Clover POS and Mailchimp. The synchronization process requires transfer of information over a secure connection to servers hosted by Smarter ASP.NET in the United States. During the transfer the information remains encrypted. Your customer’s information is not stored or retained by MailSync after the synchronization takes place.


How do we protect your information?

We offer the use of a secure server. All information synchronized between Clover POS and Mailchimp is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and all transferred information remains encrypted during the synchronization process. After synchronization, the customer’s information will not be stored on our servers.


Do we use cookies?

No.


Do we sell your data?

We do not sell your data and have not sold anyone’s data in the past 12 months.


Do we share any data with third parties?

We only share the data that is synchronized between Clover and Mailchimp. We do not disclose any of your information to anyone outside of Clover and Mailchimp.


Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

Compliance We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.


Correcting, Updating, Deleting, Deactivating Personal Information:

If you are unhappy with the way that we have handled your personal information, you can make a complaint to the authority responsible for data protection in the country that you are based. We will respond to your request regarding personal information made through the contact information in this privacy policy within 30 days. We will retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to the app service. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We do not use automated decision making regarding your personal information.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Merchants who have MailSync installed will be notified of any changes from within the MailSync application.

  • Identity verification. The CCPA requires us to verify the identity of the individual submitting the request before providing a substantive response to the request. A request must be provided with sufficient detail to allow us to understand, evaluate and respond. The requester must provide sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify that the individual is the person about whom we collected information. A request may also be made on behalf of your child under 13.
  • Authorized agents. California residents can empower an “authorized agent” to submit requests on their behalf. We may require the authorized agent to have a written authorization confirming that authority.
Sale of personal information

We do not sell, as defined under CCPA, your Personal Information to third parties.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have not sold any personal information.
